Week beginning Monday, 5th October

In Literacy, we will be listening to the story of The Little Red Hen. We will make marks or draw pictures of the characters who would not help the Little Red Hen. We will listen, identify and write the correct grapheme to match the name of the animals. We will follow a recipe and make our own bread, just like the Little Red Hen did. 

In Maths, we will compare the size of objects, the mass of objects and the capacity of objects and use the correct vocabulary to compare the variety of different objects. 

In Phonics, we will the digraph ck and the phonemes e u r. We will also learn the harder to read and spell words to go into.

We look forward to singing to our Grandparents on Friday afternoon.
