Week beginning Monday, 20th January

We will continue to learn about Australia using the book 'There's an Ouch in my Pouch'.  We will learn about Australian animals and write a simple caption about an animal.  

In Maths we will learn about mass - using the correct vocabulary 'heavier' and 'lighter'.  We will also learn about capacity and use the correct vocabulary 'full' and 'empty'.

During Muddy Explorers we will make bird feeders as part of 'The Big Garden Bird Watch'.  

On Friday we will take part in Australian day and come dressed in green and yellow or red, white and blue clothes.

In Phonics we will learn 'ow, oi, ear, air'.
