Week beginning Monday, 26th January

In Maths, we will introduce the Multiplication symbol.  The children will learn how to use arrays to multiply by 23, 5s and 10s. 

In English, we will begin a new focus text called ‘The Bear and the Piano’ by David Litchfield.  The children will make predictions, explore the characters and write advice to the bear. 

In Art, the children will learn how to mix tones and shades.  They will also paint their clay coil pots, taking inspiration from Esther Mahlangu.
