Week beginning Monday, 9th March

In Maths, we continue with our unit on place value. We will be focusing on how to estimate on a numberline to 50 and find 1 more, 1 less. We will also be starting our unit on Length and Height.  

For English, we finish reading our book ‘Astro Girl’. We will be planning and writing and publishing a ‘fact-file’ using subheadings, conjunctions and questions. In Science, we will be looking at seasonal change and observing changes across the four seasons. 

Within our Enquiry, for Design and Technology, we will be constructing our rockets, based on a design brief.   

This week in Music, we will be performing our song ‘Round and Round’ with instruments but also making different types of sounds with our voices. In PE, we will be continuing our gymnastics to combine big, small, wide, narrows and curled movements on apparatus.
