Week beginning Monday, 14th September

We will continue to learn the routines in school, get to know each other and make new friends. We will be listening to the story ‘All about me’ and discussing our homes and families, before we draw pictures of our own families. 

We will explore how we could use shapes to create pictures of a house, looking at which shapes are best for different parts of the house. We will start the next stage in phonics as we learn the phonemes s a t p. During phonics we will learn how to say each phoneme, recognise it and write it, before we sound out and blend simple words.
