Week beginning Monday, 11th May

We will learn about Mental Health Week and participate in a PSHE workshop on Tuesday. 

During Literacy, we will listen to the story ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ and use our phonics skills to write about what food is growing in Grandpa’s garden.  

In Phonics, we will learn to read and write longer cccvc words such as ‘scrub’ 

In Maths, we will learn about how to share sets of objects and that when we share there needs to be two equal groups of objects. We will also look at how to move objects into groups and check they have the same number of objects in them. We will learn about the artist Yayoi Kusama, look at photos of her sculptures and try to create our own, in a similar style.
