Week beginning Monday, 2nd March

We will continue to learn about our enquiry theme ‘Who lives happily ever after?’ 

We will listen to the story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and then creating a class story map to help us orally retell the story. We will sequence three pictures and write a simple sentence to match each of the pictures.

In Maths, we are learning about the numbers 9 and 10 and will learn to recognise them and write them. We will  accurately count sets of objects up to 10, saying one number name to match each object. As part of our Expressive Arts and Design learning, we will explore different materials and try to build chairs for Daddy, Mummy and Baby bear.  

In Phonics, we will review the sounds learnt and learn the Hard to Read and Spell Words: 'were, out, like'. On Thursday we will enjoy participating in World Book Day.
