Week beginning Monday, 12th January

We will continue with our Enquiry Theme 'Where am I?' and learn about different landmarks in Australia.  We will use our phonics skills to write captions about the Australian landmarks.

In Maths, we will be continuing with our block 'Alive in 5' as we learn about 1 more and 1 less.  We will also learn about the composition of numbers to 5, e.g. 5 can be made with 4 and 1, 2 and 3.  We will look at a range of images and talk about what we can see.

In Phonics, we will learn ar, ur, oo, or and the hard to read and spell words: they, are, all.
