Week beginning Monday, 9th March

Through our Enquiry Theme ‘Who lives happily ever after?’ we will be sharing the story of Little Red Riding Hood.  We will be using speech bubbles to capture what different characters might be saying in the story.

In Maths, we will be continuing to look at the numbers 9 and 10.  We will be exploring one more and one less than numbers up to ten and thinking about the composition of 10, which 2 smaller numbers total 10. 

In Phonics, we continue to review the digraphs we have learnt so far and practice using them to spell words and write simple captions. We will learn the Hard to Read and Spell Words  'some', 'come', 'there'. 

We will be learning how to programme the Beebots to follow a path moving forwards, backwards and turning. 

In PE we will be thinking about how we can move on the apparatus using big and small movements.
