Week beginning Monday, 28th September

On Monday, we will enjoy taking part in our first Harvest Festival at Southwell Minster.

In Literacy, we are going to listen to the story 'The Little Red Hen' and learn about the characters in the story, the sequence of the story, and what the different characters say in the story. 

In Maths, we are going to continue to learn about sorting and finding matching sets. We will explore ways to sort a variety of different objects and talk about which set has more and which has fewer.  

We will explore grain, wheat, flour and bread and talk about what we can see, feel and smell. We will use materials to create a collage of the Little Red Hen.
