Week beginning Monday, 20th April

In Maths, we will be beginning to explore numbers beyond 10.  We will be counting to 20 starting at numbers other than zero.  We will then be exploring how the numbers 11, 12 & 13 are made up of ten and a few more. 

In Literacy, we will continue to use the text 'The Tiny Seed' to consider what a seed would need to grow.  We will be reading simple instructions so that we can plant our own seeds.  We will then have the opportunity to write simple instructions for others to follow. 

In Dance, we will be creating our own movements to represent words and be beginning to link our movements together to create a simple sequence. 

In Phonics, we will be reading and writing words ending in ed such as pointed, and also cvcc words.
