Week beginning Monday, 16th March

In Maths, we are continuing to explore the composition of 10, finding different ways of making 10 using 2 or 3 smaller numbers.  We will also be looking at doubles of numbers to 10 and recognising odd and even numbers. 

In Literacy, we will continue to read the traditional tale of Little Red Riding Hood.  We will be retelling the story with puppets and sequencing pictures from the story to create a story map. 

In Phonics, we continue to revisit our previously taught phonemes, focussing on writing words that contain these digraphs.  Our harder to read and spell words this week are little, one, do 

In PE, we will be travelling both on the floor and on the apparatus using big, small, high and low movements.
