Week beginning Monday, 4th May

During Literacy, we will continue to listen to the story ‘The Enormous Turnip’. We will sequence pictures from the story and use our phonics skills to  write a sentence to match each of the pictures.

In Maths, we are learning about addition and subtraction as we explore how many objects have been added or taken away. We will look at a range of vegetables and see what shapes they make when we print with them.

During Phonics, we will read longer words (ccvcc) like ‘plant’ and explore the ed ending that makes a d sound. We will closely monitor the seeds we planted and observe any changes that have happened.

On Tuesday we will visit Southwell visit as part of our RE work and look for the features in a church.
