Week beginning Monday, 29th June

In Maths, we will be consolidating our understanding of money by practising how to count and calculate using a range of coins and notes. We will then begin our new unit on time, where pupils will develop their understanding of reading and measuring time. 

In Computing, we will continue creating our e-books. This week, children will enhance their projects by adding sound effects and audio features. 

In English, we will begin our new text Iggy Peck, Architect Andrea Beaty and David Roberts. We will be looking at adjectives and using conjuncti9ons to compare.  

In History, we will answer our enquiry question, “What were seaside holidays like?”, by presenting our learning in an informative booklet. We will reflect on what we have discovered about the Victorians and explore the activities and experiences associated with Victorian seaside holidays. This learning will link to Geography, where pupils will apply their knowledge by drawing and labelling a map of a seaside town.
