Foundation 1 Arrangements and Funding
Lowe’s Wong Infant School Foundation 1 (F1) provision.
Our sessions run mornings and afternoons, 5 days a week:
8.50am – 11.50am (3 hours)
12.30pm – 3.30pm (3 hours)
To supplement these sessions the following options are available:
- Lunchtime from 11.50 to 12.30pm every day. The cost of a meal for F1 children is £2.95 a day, (meals are provided free of charge once the children are full time under the Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme). Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch if they prefer.
- Additional supplementary hours up to a maximum of 30 hours. The additional hourly rate is £6 per hour.
- An additional morning or afternoon session is £18 per session.
From January 2026, children who turn 4 years of age between 1st January and 20th July will be eligible to join our F1 provision the day after their 4th birthday.
